Meet Blaž: Oak & Steel Purchasing Assistant by day, Bartender by night
A great part of working for Oak & Steel is exploring mixology with premium barware - we had our Purchasing Assistant sit down with us and his drink of choice - a Daiquiri, while answering a couple of questions about his lines of work.
Tell us a bit about what you do at Oak & Steel
My core role is to control production and quality control arrangements for our Oak and Steel products.
What is your favourite Oak and Steel product?
I adore the steel tumblers in our catalogue. They are so versatile! I’ve been using them at home daily for any beverage really, as well at dozens of dinner parties and picnics.
What is your favourite part about being a Bartender?
It is a great way to change the environment, do some exercise and clear my mind at the end of the week since my purchasing role at Redfits requires highly-analytical decision making with little physical activity. It’s also a great excuse to see central London every week!
What’s your drink of choice?
A classic Daiquiri. It’s simple, consistently delicious, every venue will have the ingredients for it, and if not, it’s a good sign to find a different place for a drink!
